Charity gig in aid of Breast Cancer Care who I'm trekking the great wall of china for in October.
£3 entry on the door, any extra much appreciated!
All money raised shall be going to the charity.
So far we have playing:
Full On - Group of workers from Honda, recently with a new guitarist. Been together over a year and it will be their second ever gig.
Cartoon Heroes - the semi regular reincarnation of the band popular around the South West during the 90s. Playing a diverse mix of rock, pop and soul from Steely Dan and Robben Ford to Paul Simon and the Neville Brothers. Cartoon Heroes is the band where guys who spend most of their time making other people sound good come together to have fun and let their (diminishing) hair down. Guaranteed good times for all. They probably should be called - four old session musicians and a piano.
Arc - formed in late 2005 when four like minded young musicians joined forces under the watchful eye of Swindons omnipotent music guru, Stuart Rowe. After releasing their debut album Turning Leaves in 2009 to much critical acclaim, they took a couple of years off to pursue other goals. Now reformed and stronger than ever, Arc are back in business. For pictures/tracks go to www.myspace.com/thisisarc
If you'd like to play or know anyone that would, just send me a message, the more the merrier! Unfortunately the only payment I can offer musicians is in cake...!
